"I have had the pleasure of working with Gary for several years and would recommend him without hesitation.
Gary is completely committed to his students and always puts their best interests first. He believes every student can improve with the right support, encouragement, and high expectations.
His experience across different countries and schools, together with a successful career before teaching, gives him a broad perspective and a
wealth of experience that benefits every learner.
Gary is also a genuinely kind person with a great sense of humour who cares deeply about others. I would happily work with him again and recommend him to any student or family looking for an outstanding teacher and tutor."

A-level Geography command word pro de-coding tip
Pro Tip: Decoding A-Level Geography Command Words
The Word: 'Discuss' (High-Order Command Word)
-
The Common Mistake: When students see "Discuss," their immediate instinct is to describe (low-order skill) and explain (medium-order skill). Doing only this caps your score at a low-to-medium mark.
-
The Pro Strategy: Think of it like a real-world debate. A discussion requires at least two opposing viewpoints. Imagine listening to two experts debating both sides of an argument, each using specific case study evidence to support their claims.
-
The Execution: Write your answer as a balanced report capturing both sides of that debate.
-
The Golden Rule: Always finish by stating a definitive conclusion. Clearly declare which side of the discussion you agree with, fully justified by the evidence you just presented.
